HANDYPERSONCarbon60 is looking to recruit an experienced Handyperson to support general maintenance, and repair works within a facilities management environment in Edinburgh, Scotland.ROLE: HandypersonPAY RATE: £14.57 per hour PAYECONTRACT TYPE: 1 month - TemporaryLOCATION: Edinburgh, ScotlandTHE ROLE: The Handyperson will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of general maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard. The role involves fault finding, basic building fabric repairs, and supporting compliance tasks while delivering excellent service to the client.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across site * Perform fault finding and basic diagnostics on building issues * Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works * Update CAFM systems and complete all required documentation accurately * Ensure all works are completed safely, following H&S procedures * Maintain plant rooms and work areas in a clean and tidy condition * Escort and supervise subcontractors on-site when required * Ensure professional communication with clients and stakeholdersESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: * Proven experience in general maintenance or facilities management * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Basic knowledge of building fabric repairs * Full UK Driving Licence * Good understanding of health & safety practices * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication and IT skills (CAFM systems) * Reliable, flexible, and self-motivatedDESIRABLE: * Experience within facilities management (5+ years preferred) * Legionella awareness * Asbestos awareness * MEWP Licence * First Aid training * Experience working in a client-facing environment Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
