KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Define and own mobile application architecture across iOS and Android platforms using Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Java. * Establish and govern architectural patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and modular design. * Design and validate backend integration patterns with scalable microservices built using Scala, Akka, or Java. * Define API contracts (REST ), error handling, versioning, and backward compatibility strategies. * Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and networking. * Ensure secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and encryption standards. * Lead mobile CI/CD strategy using Bitrise, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions for build, test, and release automation. * Define push notification architecture using Firebase Messaging, including deep links and analytics tagging. * Drive performance, scalability, observability, and resilience across mobile and backend systems. * Lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and provide architectural governance across teams. * Evaluate new technologies, run POCs, and recommend best-fit solutions in a technology-agnostic manner. * Support App Store and Play Store release strategies, versioning, and rollout controls. Ensure maintenance, testing, and inspections comply with BS7671 standards. Participate in the oncall rota, which is 1 in 4. What experience you need to be the successful Mobile Electrician: A recognised electrical industry qualification will be required, and previous experience in a commercial/industrial plumbing setting is essential. Fully qualified electrician; Qualified to IEE 18th edition. Experience of Electrical and Multiskilled PPM's and Emergency/Electrical Lighting testing Experience in Facilities management and general electrical maintenance.
