Job description I am currently recruiting for a rapidly growing business which design and manufacture radars and the software used to make these smart and easy to use. These radars are used in more complex integrated systems, including with other sensor systems such as cameras. We are currently seeking a Technical Project Manager who will assist in the smooth delivery of a few new surveillance system projects on time and within budget. You’ll be responsible for the following: Managing external project activities to ensure that they are delivered to specification in a timely and effective manner. Liaison with internal sales, technical and commercial teams to ensure that they prepare and provision for the installation and configuration of their radars and software in agreed timescales. Understand the challenges that come with the integration of complex electronic equipment operating in potentially difficult environments. Generating and manage project plans for external projects (and occasionally smaller internal projects). Liaison with the businesses manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure that they deliver the right equipment at the right time. What We're Looking For: You’ll have a technical degree combined with either appropriate experience or a demonstrable aptitude for project management. Experience around electronic hardware or system design. Solid project management experience and familiarity with project management tools and software. An ability to document your work accurately and clearly. An aptitude for organising and managing technical projects. Strong people skills. Good spoken and written English language skills.   You’ll be working out of their South Cambridge office, on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH). This role will also include some international travel to meet customers and/or see installation sites. The salary on offer for this role is up to £70,000 (DOE), plus benefits.
