Job Description Job Description: The selected candidates will serve as Lead QA Analysts to assist in the following: Develop and execute formal UAT test scripts and plans. Track and confirm testing activities and progress. Collect and analyse data for software process evaluation and improvements, integrating them into business processes. Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Lead the Testing Error Triage Team. Serve as the primary point of contact with the Florida PALM Project team for reporting progress, discussing testing issues, ensuring coordination of agency efforts with the overall UAT timeline. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. Or equivalent work experience. A minimum of three (3) years of systems development, testing and/or business experience. Experience in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Experience working on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development environments. Experience working on multiple programs/systems as a project team member. Experience defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Experience collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrating them into business processes to address needs of the business. Experience documenting problems and assisting in their resolution. Experience performing quality audits across various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures and methodologies are being followed. This role combines hands-on quality assurance responsibilities with business analysis activities. It's ideal for someone who thrives on bringing clarity, structure, and accountability to the software development process. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality while helping transform business needs into clear, testable requirements. You will work closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders, and contribute to the delivery of reliable solutions used in real-world healthcare environments. You will be responsible for day-to-day quality assurance across a suite of web and mobile applications, while also supporting requirements gathering, documentation, and process improvement initiatives. You should have a strong attention to detail, enjoys investigating edge cases, and confidently bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams. In addition to supporting regular development cycles, you will participate in scheduled evening deployments and occasional Saturday release activities.
