Principal Software Engineer Our client is a fast-growing technology company at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and sports media and is building next-generation platforms that turn standard video into rich, real-time data and immersive visual experiences. Their products power performance analysis, broadcast enhancements, and interactive fan applications for top-tier sports organizations worldwide.The team is now scaling its core platform to support high-volume batch processing and low-latency live systems, enabling real-time insights and visual overlays during live events.The RoleAs a Principal Software Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the backend and platform architecture that brings advanced video and ML systems into production. This is a hands-on role with real influence over technical direction, where you’ll design, build, and ship scalable systems end to end.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build cloud-native, distributed data platformsDevelop batch pipelines for large-scale video and data processingArchitect low-latency, real-time streaming systems for live use casesOwn ML infrastructure for model deployment, GPU utilization, and inferenceLead complex technical initiatives from concept through productionWhat we’re looking forExperience building production-grade software systemsStrong background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructureExperience with both batch and real-time/streaming architecturesProficiency in Python and modern containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)Solid understanding of ML platform challenges (serving, scaling, GPU workloads)Comfortable collaborating across product and engineering teamsNice to haveExperience with video, media, or real-time data systemsExposure to sports tech, broadcast, or entertainment platformsKnowledge of computer vision or ML pipelines📍 Hybrid: Warsaw, Poland – 2–3 days per week 💰 Compensation: 35,000–40,000 PLN/month + benefits + equity
