About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Application Architect with a strong frontend background to define and lead the architectural direction of our web platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who combines deep development expertise with the ability to make strategic architectural decisions.As a Technical Leader, you will shape frontend initiatives across multiple web projects, working closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.We will only consider people living in Warsaw and the immediate surrounding area, ready for hybrid work with 2-3 office visits per week.Your tasksDefine, design, and evolve the frontend architecture for Angular-based web applicationsSet and guide the frontend technical strategy across multiple projects and teamsContribute hands-on to development work (approx. 50% of the time), particularly in architecture-critical areasEnsure smooth integration with backend systems, APIs, and microfrontend architecturesEstablish and promote best practices, standards, and patterns for frontend developmentReview code and architectural decisions to maintain consistency and technical excellenceMentor and support development teams, acting as a technical authority and advisorCollaborate with backend architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goalsRequirementsMinimum 7 years of experience in frontend development, including some expertise in designing architectureStrong, hands-on experience with AngularBasic working knowledge of PHPFamiliarity with CMS platforms such as Drupal or MagentoUnderstanding of microfrontend architectures and frontend–backend integration patternsExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical directionExcellent communication skills in both English and PolishResiding in Poland requiredWillingness to work hybrid with 2-3 visits to the office in Warsaw per weekNice-to-have requirementsExperience with additional frontend frameworks such as React or VueExposure to containerization, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelinesPrevious experience working in enterprise-scale or cross-functional architecture environments
