We’re looking for specialists open to cooperate on B2B basis, for our customer – Avanade Poland.Avanade website; Privacy policyThis role is available for both specialists open to work remotely (within Poland) or in hybrid mode (offices in Wroclaw and Krakow).Position:As Data Engineer, you will broaden your experience by working in modern projects for various domains and industries. You will extend your skills in a wide range of tools, focusing on tasks such as:Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelinesEnd-to-end development of data architectures and ETL processesCollaborating with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to ensure data integration and optimizationImplementing data governance, data quality, and data security best practices across data systemsOptimizing performance of data workflows and ensuring the reliability of data solutionsStaying up-to-date with the latest developments in data engineering worldMentoring and providing guidance to junior data engineersPossibility to develop yourself in advanced AI technologiesTech stack:During projects you will work with different tools, but the most core tech stack we use is:Databricks, PySpark, Azure cloud and services (Data Lake, SQL Database, Azure Databricks, Data Factory), SQL, Python, MS FabricRequired skills:For this role, you will need commercial experience with:Azure cloud and services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, SQL Database, Azure Databricks)DatabricksPython and PySparkSQLData Engineering concepts such as ETL, data modeling, data warehousing, data governanceEnglish (B2)Nice to have:Experience with MS FabricExperience with Docker/KubernetesKnowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks (e.g. MLflow, TensorFlow)Knowledge/experience with LLMs and orchestration frameworksIf you want to ask any questions before applying, feel free to reach out via LinkedIn!
