Team Leader (Software Engineering)For our client, we are looking for a Team Leader (Software Engineering) to join a new software initiative developed in a modern technology environment. The role combines hands-on engineering, technical leadership and people management, with real influence over the shape and quality of the solution being built.About the projectYou will join a new product initiative developed in a modern engineering environment. The team focuses on building a robust software solution, with strong emphasis on solid engineering foundations and long-term maintainability.The work is carried out with a focus on well-designed architecture, scalability and high technical standards, in close cooperation with Product Management and UX, covering both the solution design phase and production delivery.ResponsibilitiesLead a software engineering team (people leadership and delivery ownership)Actively contribute to the codebase (~30% of time)Make technical and architectural decisionsWork closely with Product Manager and UX from the discovery phaseEnsure engineering excellence (clean code, testing, code reviews, CI/CD)Translate business goals into backlog, priorities and execution plansTake ownership of solution quality, stability and deliveryRequirements (must have)Experience as a Team Leader or Technical Leader of a software development teamStrong engineering and architectural backgroundHands-on experience with code reviews and technical decision-makingExperience working in a cross-functional environment (Product, UX, Business)Strong ownership mindset and accountability for outcomesVery good communication skillsExperience working on a product from the discovery phaseNice to haveExperience with B2C products or high-traffic systemsExperience in mobile or mobile-oriented projectsExperience with AI-powered systems, including hands-on development, architectural decision-making or evaluation of AI-based solutionsTech stackKotlinAI , Python (nice to have)Modern backend architectureGreenfield initiativeAdditional informationRole split: coding (30%) / technical leadership (40%) / people leadership (30%)Mobile-specific background is not required; strong engineering and architectural experience is sufficient
