Unleash automation mastery — accelerate business transformation through innovative scripting and seamless system integration!Kraków-based opportunity with hybrid work model (3 days remote/week).As a Medior Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial services organization dedicated to modernizing infrastructure and enhancing operational efficiency. You will play a key role in implementing automation solutions across diverse environments to streamline processes and ensure reliable, scalable systems. Your expertise will directly impact system robustness and performance, allowing you to shape the future of financial technology by leveraging scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code principles in complex, collaborative projects.Your main responsibilities:Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python, Shell, and AnsibleImplementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with JenkinsManaging and troubleshooting Linux systems and command-line operationsApplying technical documentation to facilitate integration of unfamiliar technologiesSupporting the integration of distributed systems, ensuring high reliabilityCollaborating with teams to identify opportunities for process improvementsMonitoring workflows and resolving operational issues efficientlyPromoting infrastructure-as-code methodologies and continuous improvement initiativesYou're ideal for this role if you have:At least 5 years of experience in automation engineering or related fieldsProven hands-on skills with Python, Shell scripting, and AnsibleSolid experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline development and maintenanceStrong knowledge of Linux systems and command-line utilitiesAbility to quickly understand and apply technical documentationUnderstanding of integration concepts and distributed systemsExcellent communication skills in English (fluent level)A proactive approach, capable of working independently and collaborativelyPassion for innovation, automation, and continuous learningStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detailIt is a strong plus if you have:Prior exposure to IBM MQWe offer you: ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
