We are currently working with french company that provides innovative solutions to help guarantee the security and legal value of paperless transactions and electronic contracting processes while offering an optimized user experience, across multiple channels, whether online, mobile, in-branch or over the phone.The solutions allow users to commit to a contract and guarantee the integrity of that commitment through a digital signature function. It also generates enforceable proof that can be used in the event of a dispute.The solutions are compliant with the European eIDAS Regulation* framework on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market to create, validate and preserve simple, advanced and qualified signatures. Electronic contracting and paperless transactions are a major strategic tool for strengthening customer relationships, accelerating business growth, and improving efficiency. Transforming a contracting process to make it entirely electronic requires securing and giving legal value to transactions, agreements and documents involved. Your daily responsibilitiesGuide development team in software development and general engineering practicesServe as the direct supervisor for a team of developers, managing their day-to-day engagement and well-beingConduct regular 1-on-1 meetings to provide feedback, remove blockers, and align individual goals with company objectivesTechnical mentoring of developers in the teamWork with the team to analyze and estimate backlog and plan development tasksDeliver features based on functional specification with cooperation with Product Owner and Functional AnalystParticipate in code review process to ensure application quality, consistency and spread of good engineering practicesTroubleshoot and investigate production technical issues within microservices owned by your teamImplement and improve non-functional product items eg: High Availability, performance, platform monitoringPrepare and perform software patching due to security constraints, libraries eol etcProvide estimation input for roadmap items to the Product OwnerExplain technical issues with non-technical team members eg: Product OwnerContributes to common libraries used across productsKeep technical debt of product at a low level We need you to haveProven experience in a Team Leader or Engineering Manager roleStrong knowledge and experience in Java (8 to 11 )General knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle and practices, including current industry trendsLeadership skills and experience in leading or mentoring developersExperience working with Kubernetes / DockerProficiency in using GITWorking experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate, WEB Services (REST and Soap)Knowledge of Unix ecosystem and tools ( Bash scripting)Understanding of networking topology and components of distributed web applicationsGood understanding of SQL database design and operations (SQL syntax)Familiar with CI/CD and automation tools (Jenkins)Familiar with an Agile development process (code reviews, daily standups, sprint definition, review and retros)Strong time estimation skills, and a track record of achieving deadlines Would be great if you haveExperience with MongoDB, Oracle, Hazelcast in-memory DBKnowledge about PKI mechanisms : Cryptography, Certificates, HSMExperience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure)Working experience with commercial software development, testing and deployment processes (Testlink)Working experience with cloud services based on API ; OpenAPI Our Architecture and Technology Stackprogramming language: Java 8 to 11 Kubernetes / DockerGITSpringBoot, SpringSecurity, Hibernate, WebServices (REST, Soap)CI/CD tools: JenkinsDB: Mongo, OracleIntelliJPrometeus, GrafanaHazelcast in-memory DBHSMscloud services based on API, OpenAPITestlinkHelmMaven Our offerIn addition to great company and challenging projects, we can offer much much more, i.e.knowledge sharing within our companytraining & development budget agile and friendly atmosphere, non-violent communication and full respect for diversitypossibility to choose from onsite (in Lodz, Poland) or hybrid work (one day a week in our office in Łódź city center)reporting line to an experienced Technical Manager located in PolandB2B or employment contractmonthly remuneration offered: 1.400 - 1.500 PLN net on B2B and 22.000 - 24.000 zł on the employment agreement
