Ambient Recruiting is partnered with a client in Grand Rapids, who is actively looking to hire a qualified CNC Operator, who is ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and will be responsible for producing high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in production.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications.
• Utilize CAD software for programming and adjusting machine settings as needed.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with assembly line teams to ensure seamless workflow and product assembly.
• Fabricate components using various tools, including press brake machines and welding equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must have previous experience with CNC machines.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Capable of using various machine tools, micrometers and calipers.
• Capable of reading a tape measure.
• Capable of reading blueprints.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have perfect attendance and good attitude.
