About the Role
<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced <strong>Lead Veterinary Surgeon</strong> to join a progressive small animal practice in <strong>Cambridgeshire</strong>. <p>You’ll lead a talented clinical team, ensuring the delivery of outstanding veterinary care while supporting and mentoring colleagues. This role combines hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities, providing an excellent balance for vets who thrive in both areas.</p>

<p>Oversee day-to-day practice operations alongside the Practice Manager.</p>

<p>Manage a varied caseload, performing both consultations and surgeries.</p>

<h3><strong>About You</strong></h3>

<p>MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon with leadership experience.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong communicator with a passion for mentoring and teamwork.</p>
</li>

<p>Confident in general practice with solid surgical and medical skills.</p>
</li>

<p>Commercially aware and motivated to drive clinical and business excellence.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Committed to providing the highest level of care to patients and clients.</p>

<h3><strong>Working Pattern</strong></h3>

<p><strong>4-day working week</strong> for excellent work-life balance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>1-in-6 Saturday rota</strong> shared across a local network of practices.</p>

<p>Part-time options can be discussed.</p>
