General Cover teacher - Wythenshawe

About the role

We are seeking general cover teachers to support a well-established secondary school in Wythenshawe on an ad hoc basis. Due to the size of the school, there is a regular need for supply teachers and this would suit those who are looking for a more flexible work pattern to work around other commitments.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the completion of pre set work
• Create a safe, positive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers

Pre-requisites:

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Two recent education or school-based references
