<p><em><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></em></p>

<p>Progress all aspects of the team’s work programme, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Statutory planning casework</li>
<li>Pre-application negotiations</li>
<li>Urban design studies</li>
<li>Conservation area management</li>
<li>Historic buildings and heritage matters</li>
<li>Housing regeneration projects</li>
<li>Planning appeals</li>
<li>Conservation and design-related policy development</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<p>Take a lead role in your area of expertise, ensuring work is delivered effectively, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Provide a consistent, timely, and effective advisory service on all design and conservation matters to Development Management colleagues.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to support high-quality design and heritage outcomes.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Contribute to place-making initiatives that respect and enhance the character and appearance of historic areas.</p>
</li>
