<p><strong>CNC Turner Setter / Operator 6780</strong></p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Coventry<br />
<strong>Hours:</strong> Double days<br />
<strong>Salary:</strong> £15.62 an hour</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of a CNC Turner Setter / Operator</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Set up and operate CNC machines and associated processes safely and efficiently.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Produce parts in accordance with technical drawings and route cards.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure all components meet schedule requirements and quality standards.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Follow departmental procedures to deliver best-in-class service while maintaining company quality procedures.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Carry out offset changes, tooling, and cutting tip changes as required.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment and ensure documentation is accurately completed.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Update manufacturing shop floor data collection systems as needed.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain and continually improve 5S standards.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Participate in Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) activities.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Identify and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work safely and report any health and safety risks.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Collaborate effectively as part of a team.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Train other operators as required.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure all work aligns with IATF16949 quality requirements.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Liaise with other departments to support operations.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform any additional ad-hoc duties as necessary.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Skills of a CNC Turner Setter / Operator</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Understanding and interpretation of technical drawings.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>CNC machine operation and turning experience.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to work under pressure and to schedule.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Teamworking and training capability.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Knowledge of TPM and 5S principles.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Good organisational and time management skills.</p>
</li>
</ul>
