Teaching Assistant - Bradford

About the role:

Justteachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class at one of our welcoming partner primary schools in Bradford. This is a full-time position starting in September, with the potential for a permanent placement for the right candidate.

As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and classroom engagement. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high‑quality support and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support — Assisting the teacher with daily lessons, activities, and behaviour management.
• Small Group Work — Providing targeted support to groups of pupils to reinforce learning objectives.
• One-to-One Support — Supporting individual pupils who may require additional help.
• Resource Preparation — Helping prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
• Safeguarding — Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils in line with school policies.

Pre-requisites:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• A positive, proactive, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to helping pupils achieve their full potential
• Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
