To learn how to apply for a faculty or staff position, please review this <a target="_blank" href="https://my.it.miami.edu/wda/erpsec/tipsheets/ER_eRecruiting_ApplyforaJob.pdf">tip sheet</a>.</p><p></p><div><p>The Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology at UHealth, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a part-time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track. <span>The division is currently staffed by 4 MSK radiologists who work across the University of Miami Health System and Jackson Memorial Hospital in close collaboration with colleagues in Orthopedics and other departments in a multi-disciplinary environment. The division interprets all adult musculoskeletal modalities including radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and ultrasound, and performs multimodality image-guided interventions. The division is actively engaged in research covering a broad range of interests from sports medicine to oncology, and trains two MSK fellows per year.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Job <span>Functions </span> </b></p><ul><li><p>Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings</p></li><li><p>Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows.</p></li><li><p>Interpret musculoskeletal imaging studies and perform musculoskeletal procedures.</p></li><li><p>Supervise performance of technical personnel.</p></li><li><p>Be part of the on-call radiology schedule.</p></li><li><p>Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of general radiology and musculoskeletal imaging.</p></li><li><p>Provide musculoskeletal imaging consultation as requested.</p></li><li><p>Provide emergency patient care as required in the setting of a radiology practice.</p></li><li><p>Staff off-site outpatient-imaging sites as requested by division director or Chair.</p></li><li><p>Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of musculoskeletal radiology.</p></li><li><p>Participate in teaching activities related to general radiology as required in:</p></li><li><p>Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine residency training programs</p></li><li><p>Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship Program</p></li><li><p>Medical student education program</p></li><li><p>Technological radiology educational programs</p></li><li><p>Continuing medical education programs</p></li><li><p>Participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research activities.</p></li><li><p>Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><i>This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.</i></b></p><p></p><p><b>Minimum <span>Qualifications </span> <span> </span> </b></p><p></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li><p>Medical Degree</p></li><li><p>Diagnostic Radiology Residency</p></li><li><p>Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Certification and Licensing:</b></p><ul><li><p>American Board of Radiology Certified or Board Eligible</p></li><li><p>Florida Medical License or License Eligible</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Competitive applicants will have completed at least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes:</b></p><ul><li><p>The incumbent should be comfortable performing routine image guided interventions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>For additional information, please contact Adrianne Lara, Physician Recruiter - <a href="mailto:AML393@miami.edu" target="_blank">AML393@miami.edu</a></p><p></p></div><p>#LI-AL1</p><p></p><p>#DOX-1</p><p></p><p>The University of Miami is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
