About the Role

A growing cyber security consultancy is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive new client acquisition and develop high-value cyber security accounts across private and public sector organisations. This role suits a commercially driven sales professional with a strong track record in winning new business and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

This is a target-driven role with a strong emphasis on new business acquisition, alongside the development of newly won accounts.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying and securing new cyber security clients across private and public sector organisations
  • Owning relationships with senior stakeholders including CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Security
  • Selling a range of cyber security consulting and managed services, including:
    • Managed Security Services
    • SOC & MDR solutions
    • Cloud Security
    • Security Operations
    • Penetration Testing & Assurance
    • Risk, Compliance & Governance
    • Incident Response
  • Working closely with technical teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals
  • Building and managing a strong, qualified sales pipeline
  • Achieving or exceeding revenue targets
  • Representing the consultancy at client meetings and industry events
Requirements
  • Proven success in new business sales within cyber security or IT consulting
  • Experience selling complex or managed security solutions
  • Strong ability to engage senior and C-level decision-makers
  • Commercial, consultative, and solution-oriented sales approach
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
