About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Kinship Team in Lincolnshire. In this role, you will work closely with kinship carers, providing support and guidance to ensure the best outcomes for children in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing the needs of children and families within kinship arrangements.
Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
Conducting regular reviews and monitoring the progress of kinship placements.
Providing support and training to kinship carers to enhance their caregiving skills.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, or equivalent).
Registered with Social Work England.
Proven experience working in child protection or kinship care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
