About the Role
<h2>ABOUT THE JOB</h2><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">As a Senior QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clear quality criteria, test scenarios, and acceptance standards, ensuring reliable, user-friendly, and high-performing web solutions. You will act as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle, playing a crucial role in our e-commerce projects by helping deliver seamless and engaging experiences for our clients.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">In addition, you will have various daily assignments covering areas such as manual functional and exploratory testing, test case creation and execution, UI/UX validation, cross-browser and regression testing, defect identification and follow-up, as well as close collaboration with developers and product stakeholders to ensure consistently high-quality web and commerce solutions.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">We offer exciting and complex commerce projects, freedom under responsibility, and a strong focus on professional and personal development. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment with great sparring from ambitious and skilled colleagues across disciplines, working in both a professional and fun social setting.</span><br></p><h2>YOUR PROFILE</h2><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">As a Senior QA Engineer, you are experienced within manual quality assurance for modern web solutions and are passionate about delivering high-quality, user-centric digital experiences. Through your professionalism and strong domain knowledge, you take ownership of quality and contribute proactively to strong collaboration and continuous improvement.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">We expect you to have:</span></p><ul><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">5+ years of QA experience, with a proven track record as a Senior Engineer in complex web-based applications (preferably e-commerce).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Expert-level manual testing skills, including functional, exploratory, and regression testing.</span></p></li><li><p>Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or similar</p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Proven experience designing test strategies for web applications and REST APIs.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Strong understanding of web technologies and architecture, allowing for effective collaboration with engineering teams.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Git.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Experience working in Agile environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and product stakeholders.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Fluent English (written and spoken).</span></p></li></ul><p><br><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Additional nice-to-have's:</span></p><ul><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">Educational background in Computer Science or a related technical field.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">We are looking for a team member who can contribute to a fun and healthy everyday culture at IMPACT, while ensuring a high standard of quality and collaboration with colleagues.</span><br> </p></li></ul><h2>LIFE AT IMPACT</h2><p><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman", serif;">For more than 20 years, IMPACT has pioneered some of the most advanced commerce solutions in the Nordics.
