It handles a broad spectrum of complex disputes, including contractual claims, corporate disputes, fraud, finance, insurance, IP, IT, competition, and property litigation. The team is known for its commercial and innovative approach, combining formal court and arbitral proceedings with strategic use of negotiation, mediation, and adjudication. You will work closely with non-contentious colleagues to ensure a deep understanding of the transactions behind the disputes, which gives the team a significant edge when facing magic circle and major City firms. Clients include blue-chip companies, public sector bodies, and high-net-worth individuals across a wide range of sectors.The RoleYou will manage a diverse and varied commercial disputes caseload, with the opportunity to develop expertise in any number of specialist areas. You will gain exposure to a multitude of forums and cross-border disputes, working closely with UK and international partners. Alongside your day-to-day practice, you will receive business development training and have meaningful opportunities to contribute to client relationship development and the continued growth of the Manchester team.
