VANRATH are delighted to be working with an well-established business based in the Newry area who are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team to cover an initial interim period of 12 months. Responsibilities include assisting with month end, reviewing and reconciling supplier accounts, posting invoices and maintaining updated records of invoices and payments.

The Ideal Person

• Part qualified accountant
• 3+ Years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Accurate & timely processing & invoicing of customer invoices & credit notes.
• Assist with Month end balance sheet reconciliations/report preparations.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Recording information to the Purchase Ledger / relevant accounts and processing payment.
• Prepare month-end and quarterly supplier reports.
• Accurate and timely processing & coding of supplier invoices.
• Accurate records are maintained regarding accounts and suppliers.
• Deal with finance queries and ad hoc duties.
