Nursery Teaching Assistant Leeds

We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the LS10 area of Leeds from September 2026. This full-time role offers an ongoing opportunity and a competitive daily rate of £95–£105, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work alongside the Nursery team, supporting children during a vital stage of their development and helping to create a positive foundation for their future learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Nursery pupils through play-based learning and structured educational activities.
• Assist the class teacher with preparing resources and maintaining classroom routines.
• Promote positive behaviour, social development, and independence.
• Support children’s communication, language, and early learning skills throughout the school day.

Pre-requisites:

• Experience working with Nursery or EYFS-aged children.
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of EYFS principles and early childhood development.
