Busy manufacturer of highly engineered fluid and gas handling equipment is looking for a Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team in Burbank.

Summary: The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for managing the full-cycle AP process, including invoice verification, reconciliation, and vendor communication. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices.
  • Accurately voucher invoices in a timely manner and address past due items.
  • Reconcile accounts payable aging reports and investigate discrepancies.
  • Review vendor statements and Received Not Vouchered (RNV) reports to identify and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Communicate with operations and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and missing documentation.
  • Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
  • Maintain organized and accurate AP records and documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of accounting or accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Accountability and ownership of assigned responsibilities.
