About the Role

<p><b>People Business Partner</b></p> <p>Type: 12-month FTC &#8211; 37.5 hours per week</p> <p>Location: UA92 Campuses</p> <p>Salary: &pound;50,000</p> <p>Closing Date: 31st of May 2026 (Please note this advert may close early)</p> <p><b>Why Our Client &#8211; UA92</b></p> <p>Deliberately different.</p> <p>Born from the Class of &rsquo;92 and Lancaster University, they exist to do things differently break down barriers, open up opportunities, and deliver an outstanding student experience that genuinely changes lives.</p> <p>But none of that happens without their people.</p> <p><b>The Role</b></p> <p>This is a hands-on People Business Partner role focused on supporting Managers to lead our client&rsquo;s teams effectively, improving how they work, and delivering practical people solutions that make a difference day to day.</p> <p>You&rsquo;ll partner with leaders across UA92 to strengthen people management, bring clarity to challenges, and improve team effectiveness.</p> <p>Alongside this, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in embedding policy, delivering HR improvements and projects, and using insight to help them make better, more consistent decisions.</p> <p>Employee relations are part of the role, but the focus is on getting ahead of issues, building manager capability, and creating a more consistent and proactive approach to people management.</p> <p>It&rsquo;s varied, visible, and will have a direct impact on how people experience working at UA92.</p> <p><b>What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:</b></p> <ul> <li>Supporting and coaching Managers to lead teams effectively and handle people matters with confidence.</li> <li>Supporting on day-to-day HR activity across ER, absence and performance, with a focus on early intervention and consistency.</li> <li>Reviewing, developing and embedding people policies that are clear and work in practice.</li> <li>Delivering HR projects and improvements that enhance how they operate and support their people.</li> <li>Using data and insight to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and turning this into practical action.</li> </ul> <p><b>What They&rsquo;re Looking For</b></p> <p>They&rsquo;re looking for a strong HR generalist who can operate with confidence in a fast-moving environment.</p> <p>You&rsquo;ll bring:</p> <ul> <li>Experience operating at HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor level.</li> <li>A solid grounding in UK employment law and how to apply it pragmatically.</li> <li>Experience supporting and coaching Managers on a range of people matters.</li> <li>Experience delivering HR projects or improving processes.</li> <li>Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders.</li> <li>The ability to balance people, risk and organisational reality when making decisions.</li> </ul> <p>Experience in higher education or a regulated environment would be helpful but isn&rsquo;t essential.</p> <p><b>Our Client&rsquo;s Values</b></p> <p>At UA92, how they do things matters just as much as what they do:</p> <ul> <li>They Care &#8211; about their people, their students and each other.</li> <li>They&rsquo;re Inclusive &#8211; creating opportunities and removing barriers.</li> <li>They&rsquo;re Brave and Bold &#8211; willing to challenge, try and improve.</li> </ul> <p><b>Who You Are:</b></p> <ul> <li>Credible and straightforward, able to build trust quickly.</li> <li>Comfortable dealing with challenge and supporting Managers through it.</li> <li>Practical and solutions-focused, with a focus on what will work.</li> <li>Able to balance the bigger picture with day-to-day delivery.</li> <li>Values-led, with a genuine commitment to doing the right thing.</li> </ul> <p><b>Why UA92?</b></p> <p>You&rsquo;ll be joining at a point where you can genuinely shape how they manage people improving consistency, building capability, and helping them operate more effectively as they grow.</p> <p><b>Equality, Diversity and Inclusion</b></p> <p>UA92 is committed to building a diverse and inclusive community.
