Are you an experienced Intellectual Property Solicitor looking for an opportunity to lead and shape a growing practice? We are seeking a skilled and commercially focused Lawyer - most likely at Legal Director level, to take the lead on the non-contentious side of an established Intellectual Property team.

This role is based in Leeds City Centre with flexible working options available.

The Role

As an Intellectual Property Solicitor, you will:

• Lead and manage the non-contentious side of the Intellectual Property practice, delivering high-quality client service to an impressive client base of major corporates.
• Advise clients on strategies for the protection of their IP rights, taking their commercial drivers and objectives into account.
• Horizon scanning for changes to the landscape in IP law and market trends, to deliver training and updates to clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with other team across the firm (e.g. commercial, corporate etc.) to integrate your expert IP advice and solutions into broader commercial initiatives.

About You

The ideal candidate will be proactive, client-focused, and ready to make an impact. You will have:

• 8+ PQE with solid Intellectual Property experience.
• Hands-on experience advising clients on all aspects of IP law, including protection and commercial use of rights.
• Extensive knowledge of trademark, copyright, design rights, brand protection, and trade secrets, with some knowledge of patents.
• A collaborative approach, with proven experience in building and developing strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
