<p><span><strong>About the client</strong></span></p><p><span>Our client, an international payment solutions provider, is seeking a Product Owner / Product Strategist to lead the development and transformation of their internal billing and reporting platform.</span></p><p><span><strong>Role Overview</strong></span></p><p><span>This role goes beyond traditional product ownership - you will drive the evolution of an internal financial system into a scalable, merchant-facing SaaS product, supporting multiple entities, regions, and external clients.</span></p><p><span>The position combines product strategy, financial system development, monetisation, and cross-functional leadership to improve efficiency, transparency, and reliability across all payment and settlement processes.</span></p><p><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Lead the redesign and optimisation of the company’s billing, invoicing, and reconciliation platform</span></p></li><li><p><span>Drive the evolution from an internal tool to a merchant-facing and external<strong> </strong>SaaS solution</span></p></li><li><p><span>Build structured, scalable architecture to support multi-entity, multi-tenant environments, multiple currencies, and regions</span></p></li><li><p><span>Develop and implement monetisation strategies, including pricing models (e.g. usage-based, reporting tools, dashboards)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, commercial, and operations teams to align product and business objectives</span></p></li><li><p><span>Define and own the product roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of features</span></p></li><li><p><span>Design and improve merchant-facing reporting tools, dashboards, and financial documentation (invoices, settlement reports, statements)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure audit readiness, data accuracy, and compliance with financial and regulatory standards</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contribute to security architecture, including access control, audit logs, and secure handling of sensitive financial data</span></p></li><li><p><span>Support product positioning, client onboarding, and documentation in collaboration with commercial teams</span></p></li><li><p><span>Establish scalable processes for product governance, reporting, and continuous improvement</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>Requirements</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Proven experience in product strategy or product management within fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial systems</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong understanding of billing, reconciliation, accounting workflows, and financial reporting</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience building or scaling B2B / SaaS products, ideally from internal tools to external solutions</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience working with multi-tenant or multi-entity platforms</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to bridge technical and business teams - confident discussing APIs, architecture, and integrations</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience leading system modernisation, platform transformation, or migration projects</span></p></li><li><p><span>Understanding of security and access control systems (e.g. RBAC, audit logs, data protection)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of GDPR, PCI DSS, DORA, or similar regulations is a strong advantage</span></p></li><li><p><span>Professional proficiency in English is required.
