They have been around since 1926 servicing the Metro Washington and surrounding areas with quality print, &amp; design services.</p> <p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong><br />We are looking for an established Press Operator. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team with the same compassion we process for quality products with efficiency and effectiveness.<br /></span><br /><strong>SALARY<br /></strong><span>$29-34 per hour (commensurate with experience)</span></p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Review job ticket and verify instructions</li> <li>Ensure all materials (ink, coatings, paper, proofs, and plates) are available prior to production</li> <li>Constantly check pull sheets for ink density, position, and registration</li> <li>Perform regular maintenance schedules provided by the company</li> <li>Maintain ink balance for color consistency</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <ul> <li><span>3+ years of offset print production</span></li> <li><span>Knowledge of print, design, and color management</span></li> <li><span>Ability to detect defects in the printed matter while jobs are in process &amp; notify the foreman</span></li> <li><span>Must be highly motivated and highly productive</span></li> <li>High School or GED</li> </ul> <p>The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to diversity in our workforce.</p>
