The examination components listed below will be used to evaluate the qualifications of those invited. Candidates must achieve a passing score of 70% on each phase of the examination process in order proceed to the next phase. &nbsp;The examination components will be conducted as follows:<br>&nbsp;<br><strong style="font-weight: 700">I. IN-WATER ASSESSMENT</strong><br>&nbsp;Candidates will be tested on the following in-water skills &amp; abilities test:</p><ul style="padding-left: 2rem; margin: 10px 0 3pt; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0"><li>Tread water for two (2) minutes using legs only.</li><li>Circuit Test: Four hundred (400) yard circuit swim under (10) minutes.&nbsp;</li><li>Brick Retrieval: Complete the timed swim within one (1) minute, 40 seconds.</li><li>Stroke Evaluation: Swim each of the following strokes for Twenty-Five (25) yards.</li></ul><ol style="padding-left: 2rem; margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 3pt; color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0; margin-left: 80px"><li>Freestyle/Crawl Stroke</li><li>Butterfly</li><li>Elementary Backstroke</li><li>Sidestroke</li><li>Breaststroke</li><li>Back-Crawl Stroke</li></ol><br><strong style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">II.
