Purpose of the role
The Tech Recruiter ensures that recruitment at Marktplaats is well planned, structured, and aligned with business needs. The role goes beyond filling vacancies: it is about providing visibility on upcoming hiring, creating clarity for the organisation, and ensuring that recruitment contributes to growth and transformation.
Key contribution
Build and maintain a clear recruitment plan, providing oversight of upcoming needs and timelines
Ensure recruitment runs in a structured and predictable way, so the organisation can anticipate what is coming
Work with leaders to align recruitment with strategic priorities, making sure hiring efforts support growth and transformation
Bring creativity into sourcing and engagement, exploring approaches that add value beyond traditional methods
Expected outcomes
The Tech Recruiter ensures that recruitment is clearly communicated and well coordinated across the organisation. Hiring needs are anticipated and visible to leaders, and recruitment processes actively support business plans and growth. Both candidates and managers experience an efficient and positive process, and recruitment is recognised as a reliable and valuable part of Marktplaats’ development.
Profile requirements
4+ years of experience in a similar environment
Experience recruiting for tech/Product & Tech profiles
Strong skills in planning, forecasting, and organising recruitment activities
Analytical mindset, able to provide clarity through data and reporting
Creative in testing new ways of sourcing and candidate engagement
Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
Dutch fluency is a plus
