Position: Sales Support Associate
Location: Candidate must reside in or near Portland, ME.
Reports to: Region Sales Associate Manager (dotted line to local Sales team)
KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, Inc. is seeking a motivated Sales Support Associate to join our dynamic team in the Portland, ME area. This entry-level position is a feeder role to our Sales Executive path and involves providing essential support to the sales efforts in the Portland, ME area market. You will assist in the promotion, marketing, and sales of KARL STORZ products across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct product demonstrations and customer evaluations.
Present and differentiate KARL STORZ products, features, and benefits.
Build strong, compliant relationships with key stakeholders (nurses, physicians, administrators, etc.).
Provide sales quotes, service agreements, and promotional support.
Train and educate customers on product care and handling.
Manage and track demonstration products and provide timely updates to customers.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
Bachelor’s Degree or work experience.
Follows hospital protocol and KARL STORZ standards of professional conduct when working with customers, management, and fellow employees. Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all KARL STORZ protocols and procedures.
Must be able to meet and maintain all credentialing requirements established by hospitals and healthcare facilities where services will be provided. This includes, but is not limited to, background checks, verification of licensure, certifications, immunizations, and any other documentation necessary for hospital privileges.
Ability to travel to customer sites 90% of the time that include but are not limited to: hospitals, operating rooms, laboratories, and surgery centers. Responsible for maintaining up to date hospital credentialing portfolio.
