Forklift Operator/Inventory

Shift: 1st, 2nd and mid shifts available Monday – Friday – OT/Sat if needed

Pay Rate: $14/hr – $16/hr Depending on Experience

Job Description: 

• Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trailers.
• Moving goods packed on pallets around the warehouse facility
• Stacking goods and following inventory control instructions.
• Completing cycle counts daily depending on department
• Checking loads are secure
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing daily equipment checks
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Operate the forklift standup
• Audit and verify incoming material

• Minimum of 6 months’ recent experience operating a standup forklift
• Ability to work standing long hours
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision in task of routine
• Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
• Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
• Must be available for overtime if needed including Saturdays
• Must pay attention to detail
• Bilingual 
• Experience with cycle count preferred
