Transportation Engineer

The firm designs complete streets, protected bike lanes, pedestrian improvements, and transit infrastructure while conducting traffic studies and working closely with municipalities to implement Vision Zero goals.

The Transportation Engineer will design roadway improvements, conduct traffic analyses, and prepare traffic impact studies for development and municipal projects. Responsibilities include signal timing, intersection design, multimodal facility planning, traffic modeling, and coordinating with public agencies on street design standards and safety initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Planning PE license or EIT with progress toward PE 4-7 years of transportation engineering experience Proficiency in Synchro, AutoCAD, and traffic modeling software Strong knowledge of MUTCD, AASHTO, and NACTO guidelines Experience with bicycle and pedestrian facility design Excellent communication and public presentation skills

• Experience with transit planning or BRT design Knowledge of Safe Systems approach and Vision Zero principles
