Job Description
- Manage driver allocations and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
- Track and resolve any delivery issues or delays promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of transport activities and performance metrics.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and suggest solutions.
- Ensure all transport operations adhere to health and safety standards.
- Support the team with any additional logistics tasks as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transport Controller should have:
- Experience in transport or logistics operations, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and systems.
- Excellent communication skills for team coordination.
