Nursery Teaching Assistant- Preston

About the role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Teaching Assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a Nursery school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway.

• Support children’s development through structured play
• Assist with daily nursery routines and activities
• Encourage language and communication development
• Support children’s personal, social and emotional growth
• Prepare engaging learning resources and environments
• Supervise indoor and outdoor learning activities
• Observe and record developmental milestones
• Support children’s health, safety and wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff and parents
• Promote positive behaviour and independence

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant Early Years qualification
• Previous UK nursery experience essential
• Understanding of the EYFS Framework
• Passion for supporting young children’s development
