Salary: £30,687 per annum

Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week)

Location: Scottish Parliament and Mid-Scotland Fife (Regional office in Lochgelly)

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Office, you will be instrumental in communicating the work of Joe Long MSP to the public and engaging with constituents and stakeholders in Mid-Scotland and Fife. This will include Joe’s parliamentary activities, policy campaigns, and work within the Mid-Scotland and Fife region. Working across digital platforms, print and broadcast media, and through in-person meetings, events, and surgeries you will work with the office team to develop and execute an effective communications and engagement strategy. As well as work in the region, you will support Joe’s portfolio as spokesperson for community care and mental wellbeing.
