Responsibilities include: developing and evaluating route options for high- and extra-high-voltage overhead power lines, taking into account topographical, geological, and environmental aspects; performing cable mechanics calculations and assessing the operational safety of overhead power lines; creating planning documents, elevation profiles, and pylon location analyses using modern CAD and GIS systems; providing support in construction projects regarding route alignment, soil classifications, and pylon foundations; serving as the central point of contact for authorities, landowners, and internal and external project stakeholders during the permitting process; contributing to budget planning, cost control, and schedule monitoring; and advising clients on fundamental issues as well as in the early planning phases.
- Completed studies in civil engineering, electrical engineering, surveying or a comparable field
- Ideally, initial experience in overhead line construction or infrastructure planning.
- Knowledge of CAD software, e.g. AutoCAD or MicroStation, and of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Understanding of surveying fundamentals, such as cadastral maps and coordinate systems
- Good German skills, both spoken and written.
- Structured, solution-oriented work style and strong communication skills
