A Day In The Life
The Assembler performs general duties under the direction of the production supervisor; this includes installing lead wires or terminals and insulation per the production specification sheet.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Every day at Hubbell is different and you’ll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by:
· Working independently or with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
· Identifying lead wire and terminal types and installing them per production specification sheet.
· Assuring that all products meet the highest standard of quality.
· Following all safety rules and ISO requirements.
· Adhering to all company rules and policies.
· Keeping work areas clean and organized.
· Ensuring that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
· Operating a hoist properly and safely.
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED (required)
· 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
· Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
· Read, use, and understand measuring devices.
· Ability to stand for excessive periods of time.
· Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
· Understanding measurements using standard and metric measuring devices.
· Proficiency with hand tools (side cutters, lineman pliers, etc…).
