About the Role

We are looking for a strong, resilient, and proactive Behaviour Support Specialist to work closely with male students in a Bradford school setting.

This is a hands-on role where you will support students with behavioural needs, helping them regulate emotions, engage in learning, and make positive choices. You’ll need to be confident, consistent, and able to handle challenging situations with professionalism and calm authority

⚠️ Essential Requirement

Previous experience working with children or young people in the UK is a MUST
(Applications without UK-based experience will not be considered)

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Provide 1:1 and small group support to male students
✔️ Implement behaviour strategies and intervention plans
✔️ Build strong, positive relationships
✔️ Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour calmly
✔️ Support learning in and out of the classroom
✔️ Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
✔️ Track and report on student progress and behaviour

Solid understanding of safeguarding ️
Excellent communication skills ️

Desirable (Bonus Skills)

⭐ Experience with SEMH needs
⭐ Team Teach or de-escalation training
⭐ Background in sports coaching ‍♂️, mentoring, or youth work
