Industrial Automation Engineer (40 uur p/w)

Who are we looking for?

As an Industrial Automation Engineer, you are part of one of our project teams and are responsible for designing, programming and testing the equipment. You enjoy working with people and have frequent contact with both other team members and other departments. This allows you to determine the right path and solution in consultation with your colleagues. Fun, ownership and trust in each other form the basis of our team.

What will you do?

• As an Industrial Automation Engineer you are responsible for the timely delivery of the PLC and HMI software.
• You create software programs in PLC and HMI based on a functional description and I/O list.
• You are actively involved in compiling the functional description.
• You are responsible for testing and debugging the software.
• You ensure clear documentation if important information about the software arises.
• You help with the management and updating of the basic software.
• Together with the team, you help develop supporting tools.
• You work together with the various departments and provide support where possible with your substantive and technical knowledge and skills.
• You create manuals for using the software and ensure that it remains up-to-date.
• You ensure that you have up-to-date knowledge of innovations and developments in software and automation, so that you can use these as effectively as possible within your role.

What are you bringing us?

• You have a HBO work and thinking level.
• You are proficient in Dutch and English. You communicate clearly in word and writing.
• You have knowledge and experience with Mitsubishi GX-Works or Siemens Tia Portal.
• You have knowledge of Office 365 (Excel/Word)
• Experience with Weintek EasyBuilder Pro is a plus.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic script and/or website building is a plus.
• You preferably live in the central Netherlands.
• Experience in the food industry is a plus.

• You are analytically strong and service-oriented and able to think along with creativity and empathy about what is needed to arrive at a solution.
• You are independent, proactive and you stand firm in your shoes.
• You are flexible and can deal well with changes in the environment and prioritization.

What do we offer?

A pleasant and dynamic working environment in which you are given responsibility and space to take initiatives. You will immediately receive a one-year contract and – if both parties are satisfied – a permanent contract will follow. You will receive a good salary (depending on experience). And there is plenty of room for a personal development and training plan. You have 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days (with full-time employment) and a solid pension scheme (PMT) in accordance with the Metalworking Industry Collective Labor Agreement.
