Heavy Equipment/Recycling Equipment Operator- Landfill/Recycling $ DOE- Depending on Experience Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Are you a detail-oriented and reliable employee that is able to multi-task in a busy environment.  If so, this job is for you! A well-established company in the Sheldon area is seeking a Heavy Equipment/Recycling Equipment Operator to join their team, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and productivity.  Responsibilities: • Safely operate Heavy equipment, including bulldozers, compactors, excavators, wheel loaders, graders, articulated dump trucks, telehandler, and forklift.   • Use equipment to spread, compact, and cover waste materials to specified grades and compaction levels. • Maintain proper slopes, grades, and cover on landfill areas and Load recyclable materials using telehandlers and forklift.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  •  Oversee the receiving of recyclable materials; including commingled household material, electronics and cardboard. • Complete additional duties as assigned Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment. • Experience in landfills, construction, or similar environments is preferred                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        • Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure operational efficiency and safety                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              • Valid drivers license; CDL license is a plus • Reliable, safety-focused, and physically capable of lifting heavy items                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            • Experience with preventive maintenance or light repairs a plus                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.  What You’ll Get: • $DOE- Depending on Experience • Paid Every Friday • Direct Deposit and/or Paycards Available • Paid Holidays & PTO (Based on accrued hour requirements) • Medical Coverage – Access to affordable and comprehensive group medical coverage Apply online, call, or stop by today!
