TES Staffing is partnering with a well-established Managed IT Services company to find an experienced IT Support Engineer who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges while delivering exceptional customer service.

This isn't a call center or an entry-level help desk.

You'll become a trusted technology partner for a diverse portfolio of businesses, working with everything from Microsoft servers and virtualization to networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and end-user support. What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot complex desktop, server, network, and application issues
• Support Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365
• Configure and maintain servers, virtualization platforms, and networking equipment
• Support VMware environments
• Manage backups, security software, and system updates
• Respond to support requests through phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Document solutions and contribute to technical knowledge resources
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and proactive system improvements
• Occasionally travel to local client sites to provide onsite support
• Build lasting relationships by delivering outstanding customer service

Ideal candidates will have experience with:

• Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server Operating Systems
• Microsoft 365
• VMware
• TCP/IP Networking
• Firewalls
• Switches
• Wireless networking
• Backup solutions
• Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) platforms
• Google Workspace
• Antivirus and endpoint security tools

You'll also bring:

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience working directly with customers
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel locally to customer sites as needed
