Innovation Manager

I'm working with a leading professional services firm to appoint an Innovation Manager to help drive the evolution of legal service delivery through technology, process improvement and smarter ways of working. This role sits at the intersection of innovation, operations and legal practice, and will suit someone who enjoys turning ideas into practical, scalable solutions.

You'll partner closely with lawyers, business leaders and technical teams to identify challenges within transactional workflows, design fit-for-purpose solutions, and manage delivery from early concept through to adoption. The role offers strong visibility across the firm and the opportunity to make a tangible impact on how work is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a product and innovation roadmap aligned to business priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve deal execution, collaboration, knowledge reuse and lifecycle management
  • Act as a trusted partner to lawyers and senior stakeholders to surface needs and shape solutions
  • Gather requirements through workshops, interviews and process mapping
  • Evaluate, pilot and implement legal technology solutions and workflow enhancements
  • Lead rollouts, adoption initiatives and user enablement activities
  • Manage vendors and support performance tracking and reporting

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment; legal training a plus
  • Exposure to corporate, finance or private equity workstreams preferred
  • Demonstrated interest in legal innovation, operations or technology
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning projects end-to-end

This role follows a hybrid working model and requires regular in-office presence.

Ideally in their Manhattan office or Boston.

If you have the required experience and are interested in driving business critical change across a global firm, then please get in touch with your resume ASAP.
