i am currently recruiting 2 Commercial Managers for a central government organisation who help drive the effective delivery of commercial activity throughout the full procurement lifecycle. These role plays a key part in shaping commercial strategy, advising on routes to market, and ensuring robust governance, compliance, and contract management practices are in place

Experience required in central government procurement

• Lead or support end-to-end procurement activities, from strategy development through to contract award and supplier management
• Provide expert commercial advice to senior stakeholders on sourcing strategies, routes to market, and contracting approaches
• Contribute to the successful delivery of complex procurement's and commercial initiative

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support effective commercial planning and delivery
• Develop and maintain a robust commercial pipeline, ensuring visibility of upcoming procurement activity

• Ensure data integrity and accurate reporting across all commercial systems
• Leverage data insights to inform future commercial strategies and improve performance

Key experience

• Proven experience in commercial management, procurement within a complex organisation
• Strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and governance frameworks
• Experience managing end-to-end procurement lifecycle activities
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to deliver value and savings
