Your recruiter will provide the most up-to-date details during the hiring process.<h3>How you’ll make an impact in this role </h3>Drive an ambulance to transport ill or injured patients to the appropriate facility.<ul><li>Ensure safe transportation of ill or injured patients.</li><li>Maintain ambulance in clean condition and working order. Perform regular routine inspections prior to each shift to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.</li><li>Assist with stocking the ambulance with needed supplies and ensure on-board equipment is in working order.</li><li>Perform the duties of an EMT or Paramedic, depending on qualifications, as needed.</li></ul><h3>What minimum requirements you’ll need </h3>Licensure / Certification / Registration:<ul><li>Advanced Life Support obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li><li>BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.</li><li>Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.</li><li>Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.</li><li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</li><li>One or more of the following required:<ul><li>Licensed Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li><li>Paramedic credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li></ul></li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
