About the Role
Role: Technical Sales Manager
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Location: Field based
We are seeking an experienced and driven Technical Sales Manager to lead and expanding our presence in the industrial pump market. As Technical Sales Manager, you will take ownership of your territory, develop new opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers
Responsibilities:
Driving sales growth and achieving revenue and margin targets
Identifying and developing new business opportunities
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Conducting site visits and providing application-based pump selection
Preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tenders
Building long-term relationships with end users, EPCs, OEMs, and distributors
Providing technical support and product expertise
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience in technical sales within industrial pumps, rotating equipment, or fluid handling
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience managing key industrial accounts
Strong understanding of pump principles (centrifugal and/or positive displacement)
Experience with pump sizing, system curves, NPSH, and materials selection
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organised
Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
