<h2><strong>SMT Operator – Swing Shift</strong></h2><p><strong>Pay:</strong> <strong>Up to $28/hour</strong> (DOE)<p><strong>Shift:</strong> <strong>Swing Shift | 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Mon–Thurs)</strong><p><strong>Pay Type:</strong> Weekly<p><strong>Environment:</strong> Clean, quiet, climate‑controlled</p><hr /><h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3><p>We’re hiring an <strong>SMT Operator</strong> for a <strong>swing shift</strong> position supporting a growing electronics manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with <strong>SMT or PCB experience</strong> who prefers a later schedule and enjoys working in a clean, organized, and low‑stress environment.<p>You’ll be responsible for operating and supporting surface‑mount production while collaborating with documentation and quality teams to ensure smooth, accurate builds.</p><hr /><h3><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></h3><ul><li>Set up, load, and operate <strong>SMT pick‑and‑place machines</strong>, including:<ul><li>MyData <strong>MY9, MY9E, MY100</strong></li><li><strong>Europlacer</strong> (as needed)</li></ul></li><li>Review SMT documentation packages and resolve discrepancies prior to job start</li><li>Set up and operate <strong>DEK automatic and semi‑automatic solder paste printers</strong></li><li><strong>Apply solder paste to raw printed circuit boards</strong></li><li><strong>Load components into feeders and tray locations and verify accuracy</strong></li><li><strong>Print and apply labels to component packages</strong></li><li><strong>Support additional production tasks as needed, including:</strong><ul><li><strong>Conformal coating</strong></li><li>In‑process inspection</li><li>Functional testing</li><li>General electronic assembly</li></ul></li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h3><p><em>(Not all skills are required — flexibility based on experience)</em></p><ul><li><strong>1+ year</strong> of experience with <strong>SMT machines or PCB assembly</strong></li><li><strong>Experience with through‑hole and/or SMT soldering</strong></li><li><strong>Familiarity with printed circuit boards and electronic components</strong></li><li><strong>Ability to follow work instructions and documentation</strong></li><li><strong>Comfortable working with hand tools and bench‑level assembly</strong></li><li><strong>Knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 standards</strong> is a plus</li><li><strong>IPC‑A‑610 certification</strong> is a bonus, not required</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Why You’ll Like It Here</strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Up to $28/hr</strong> depending on experience</li><li><strong>Swing shift schedule (4×10s)</strong> — long weekends every week</li><li>Weekly pay</li><li>Clean, quiet, climate‑controlled workspace</li><li>Bench sitting during assembly</li><li>Laid‑back, supportive team environment</li><li>Long‑term opportunity with steady work</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Work Environment</strong></h3><ul><li>Electronics manufacturing setting</li><li>Climate‑controlled and quiet</li><li>Seated bench work</li><li>Organized, quality‑focused operation</li></ul><p><strong>Job Type & Location</strong><p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eden Prairie, MN.</p><strong>Pay and Benefits</strong><p>The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.<p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
