Grab this opportunity to be a part of us and our journey!<br></p><p><strong>The scope of your role:</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will take part in the process of designing, developing, and improving database-related platform capabilities used across modern financial systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will develop and improve reliable, secure, and scalable database solutions in AWS, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL and AWS-managed database services.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will have an impact on our platform and engineering standards by working closely with development teams and supporting them with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and AWS databases.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will work on database performance, reliability, backup and recovery, and security, while also contributing to the broader platform engineering landscape in a T-shaped engineering environment.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will work with: PostgreSQL, RDS, Aurora, AWS, SQL, DynamoDB, database performance tuning and optimization, backup and recovery strategies, Jira, Confluence, Git.</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will work using modern AI dev tools.</span><br></p></li></ul><p><strong>Required qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>5+ years of commercial experience working with relational databases in production environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid experience with AWS database services, especially RDS and Aurora.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Strong experience with database reliability engineering, including backup, restore, recovery, and high-availability practices.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with database security in cloud environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Willingness and interest to collaborate and work in a team.</span></p></li><li><p>Poland as country of residence and Polish citizenship or EU country citizenship</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p><span>Experience working with production systems that require strong security, auditability, and operational controls.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with MySQL.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with DynamoDB.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with Snowflake.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with the AWS platform beyond database services.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exposure to Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering practices.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exposure to MLOps or adjacent AI/ML platform topics.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Exposure to Agile development methodologies.</span></p></li></ul><p><strong><br>About you?</strong></p><p>You are a creative and curious person.
