About the Role
<h2><b>Shifts Available and Hours:</b></h2>
<p>Night shift 7pm-7am</p>
<h2><b>Shift Premium: Nightshift - $1.00/hour extra</b></h2>
<h2><b>What you will be doing</b></h2>
<ul>
<li>Extensive experience in troubleshooting, interpreting, modifying, and programming PLCs.</li>
<li>Proficient in working with Allen Bradley PLCs.</li>
<li>Experience using control logic and ladder logic for automation systems.</li>
<li>Ability to draw and design PLC and electrical circuits.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, design, upgrade, and install electrical equipment, circuits, and systems.</li>
<li>Improves equipment reliability and uptime through effective maintenance and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Research and procure necessary supplies, parts, and machines to complete work orders.</li>
<li>Performs and documents work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate records, including maintenance logs, manuals, drawings, and preventative maintenance (PM) logs.</li>
</ul>
<h2><b>What will make you successful?</b></h2>
<p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li>
<li>Associate degree, technical certificate, or recent completion of a trade school program in Industrial Automation, electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field, preferred.</li>
<li>Entry-level candidates or recent graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant internship, co-op, academic projects, or hands-on lab experience will be considered.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills and Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Basic understanding of electrical systems and components such as motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, and control panels.</li>
<li>Exposure to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), including troubleshooting or programming through coursework, labs, or work experience, preferred (Allen Bradley a plus).</li>
<li>Familiarity with control logic, ladder logic, or industrial automation concepts.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting aptitude with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills.</li>
