The business specialises in district heat networks and works on a range of mixed-use, residential and commercial developments.<br><br> Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for an experienced HIU Service / Breakdown Engineer to join the team.<br><br> <strong>The Role</strong><br><br> You'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and fault finding on Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and associated district heating plant across London.<br><br> This is a mobile position working on a variety of modern residential and mixed-use developments, ensuring heating and hot water systems operate safely and efficiently.<br><br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Service, maintain and repair Heat Interface Units (HIUs)</li><ul><li>Diagnose and rectify faults on district heating systems</li><li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)</li><li>Attend reactive breakdowns across London</li><li>Work on associated mechanical plantroom equipment</li><li>Complete service reports and documentation accurately</li><li>Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally</li><li>Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards</li></ul></ul><strong>Requirements</strong><br><ul><li>Previous experience servicing and repairing HIUs</li><ul><li>Strong mechanical plantroom experience is essential</li><li>Experience working on district heating networks</li><li>Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills</li><li>Full UK Driving Licence</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li><li>Able to work independently and manage your own workload</li></ul></ul><strong>What's on Offer</strong><br><ul><li>£42,000 - £45,000 basic salary</li><ul><li>Up to 10% monthly performance bonus</li><li>Company van and fuel card</li><li>Paid travel (1 hour each way)</li><li>No call-out rota</li><li>Plenty of overtime available (paid at enhanced rates)</li><li>Vitality Private Healthcare</li><li>23 days holiday plus Bank Holidays</li><li>Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing and well-established business</li></ul></ul>
